RESIDENTIAL - CLEAN UP WEEK 

MARCH 27TH  – MARCH 31ST , 2023

The CITY OF SHINER has scheduled CLEAN-UP WEEK for MARCH 27 – MARCH 31, 2023.

ZONES 1, 3, & 5 must be out by 7:00 a.m. Monday, March 27th and ZONES 2 & 4 must be out by 7:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 29th. The following rules shall apply:

ONE STOP per location with no returns to that location.

No pick-up inside private property – only next to curb.

No brush or limbs will be picked up. Brush and limbs must be dropped off by owner at the designated site in Green-Dickson Park as per the normal pick-up schedule.

Furniture and miscellaneous items such as rugs, carpet, clothing, etc. must be stacked in one pile.

Metal and Appliances must be stacked in a separate pile. Air Conditioners, Refrigerators, and Freezers MUST have freon removed by an appliance repair contractor and a certification tag attached.

Electronic monitors such as TV’s, Computers, etc. WILL NOT be picked up.

No dirt or rocks in bags, or otherwise.

Loose paper must be bagged.

TIRES, BATTERIES, OIL, PESTICIDES OR PAINT CONTAINERS WILL NOT BE PICKED UP.

NO DEMOLITION MATERIALS WILL BE PICKED UP. 

NO ROOFING SHINGLES.
