About Us

"The Shiner Volunteer Fire Department has been serving the city of Shiner and the surrounding community for more than 100 years. The volunteers respond to fires and accidents, and often assist area EMS with a variety of support services. All 45 members of the Shiner VFD are volunteers, who respond 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to emergency calls, regardless of where they are, and what they happen to be doing. The Shiner VFD is a non-profit service organization serving the community, and will graciously accept your donations to help them better serve the Shiner area with the latest training, equipment and technology."
